Olivia currently holds a limited permit as a mental health counselor. Her educational background includes women’s, gender, and sexuality studies alongside general psychology and counseling, providing her with the knowledge to work with people of all backgrounds.
Most of Olivia’s experience comes from several years of working in a community mental health setting where she has helped people of all ages and backgrounds who were seeking help with diverse challenges in their lives. She also has a passion for working with couples and sex therapy and is a Gottman Level 1 certified therapist.
Olivia’s counseling approach is humanistic in nature, focusing on client-centered therapy, to help clients identify their strengths and full potential. Her style focuses on how behaviors, thoughts, and feelings impact a person’s body, relationship with others, and mental health in its entirety.
When not working with her clients at MMHC, Olivia loves to spend her time reading while cuddling with her dog, Lego. She also enjoys spending time with loved ones, traveling, and getting outside for some fresh air.
