Nuna Ali Eboe, MHC-LP
Nuna Ali Eboe is a Mental Health Counselor-Limited Permit (MHC-LP) that specializes in working with adult individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, family conflicts, complex relationships, identity exploration, and trauma. Nuna is passionate about creating an affirming and inclusive space for individuals from marginalized communities, including LGBTQIA+, immigrants, sex workers, and those in non-traditional relationships such as polyamory and kink dynamics. They are deeply informed in MENA cultural backgrounds.
With a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and client-centered approach, Nuna integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strengths-based techniques, and aspects of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support clients in their progress. They emphasize collaboration, self-compassion, and empowerment, tailoring each session to meet the client’s unique needs.
Before entering the mental health field, Nuna had a successful career in media and creative production, where they developed a deep understanding of the intersection between identity, art, and expression. This background informs their therapeutic work, and is supplementally helpful for individuals in TV, film, and commercial production, from participants to crew.
Nuna believes that therapy should be a space for exploration, healing, and even humor. Their goal is to support clients in developing deeper self-awareness, strengthening relationships, and fostering emotional growth. When not in session, Nuna enjoys exploring new cuisines, traveling, family time, cooking, and watching documentaries.
